Vice President, Quality and Innovation
Steven Glass brings nearly 20 years in the health care field to his position as Vice President, Quality and Innovation. Prior to this position, Glass served as Chief Information Officer and Vice President, External Affairs with ACCESS.
While at ACCESS, Glass led successful Joint Commission re-accreditation processes in 2007 and 2010. He also successfully integrated Baldrige performance excellence criteria into the development and execution of an annual performance improvement plan, organizational metrics and a performance management system addressing both clinical and business indicators.
Glass has great expertise in providing strategic leadership and management to a wide range of functional areas, and has also provided leadership to the development, coordination and implementation of the organization’s performance and quality improvement processes and regulatory compliance. Glass currently leads the organization’s managed care strategy and business-office operations, and has secured a nationally-recognized pharmacy chain as a strategic partner in launching the successful organization-wide rollout of ACCESS’ 340B prescription drug program for patients.
Prior to joining ACCESS, Glass served as a Practice Director at Triad Health Practice of Illinois at Masonic Medical Center and as Supervisor, HIV Counseling, Testing, Referral & Partner Notification at the Cook County Department of Public Health.
Glass is a Member of the National Board of Examiners for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Program and serves as Chair of the Village of Oak Park, Illinois, Housing Programs Advisory Committee.
He has an M.B.A. with a Specialization in Organizational Development from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Michigan State University.
