Internal Medicine
A Chicago native, Dr. Muhammad received her bachelor’s degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology and her medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School. She completed her residency at Mount Sinai Hospital and is board certified in internal medicine. Dr. Muhammad is a member of the American Medical Women’s Association and Doctors Without Borders. “My philosophy of care is to treat the entire patient—mind, body and soul, to listen to the patient’s complaints and desires, and to attempt to find a solution to their problems,” she says. Dr. Muhammad speaks English, Spanish and German, and is currently learning Mandarin and Cantonese. She enjoys theater, movies, board games, sports, and spending time with her 5-year-old daughter.
Nativa de Chicago, la Doctora Muhammad, recibió su diploma de bachillerato del Illinois Institute of Technology y su diploma médico del Rosalind Franklin University Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School.
