Dr. Muñoz received his medical degree from the National University of Guatemala and completed his residency at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center. He is a member of the American Psychiatry Association and the Illinois Psychiatric Society. In his work as a pediatric psychiatrist, he believes patients are more than just a set of symptoms. He offers compassion and understanding, while respecting the patients’ cultures. In his spare time, he enjoys tennis, soccer, cross country skiing, art and music.
El Dr. Muñoz obtuvo su título de médico en la Universidad Nacional de Guatemala y efectuó su residencia en el Hospital y Centro Médico Michael Reese. Es miembro de la Asociación Estadounidense de Psiquiatría y la Sociedad Psiquiátrica de Illinois. Con relación a su trabajo como psiquiatra pediátrico, cree que los pacientes son más que un conjunto de síntomas. Les ofrece compasión y comprensión, al tiempo que respeta sus culturas. En su tiempo libre, disfruta del tenis, el fútbol, el esquí a campo abierto, el arte y la música.
