Adriana Rivera, a native of Chicago, is fluent in Spanish and is dedicated to working with the Spanish community. She first pursued her nursing career at the University of Illinois, where she became a Registered Nurse and where she began working directly in the women’s health care field. Initially, she worked in labor and delivery, and then expanded to assisting with the management of care for high-risk pregnancies. She later returned to the University of Illinois to pursue her degree as a Certified Nurse Midwife, which allows her to provide care for women throughout their life span. Adriana has been serving the La Villita community for nine years.
Adriana Rivera, natural de Chicago, habla español y está dedicada a su trabajo con la comunidad hispana. Ella comenzó su carrera en University of Illinois, en donde obtuvo el título de enfermera certificada y en donde comenzó a trabajar directamente en el campo de la salud femenina. Inicialmente trabajó en partos pasando después a asistir en casos de atención a embarazos de alto riesgo. Posteriormente regresó a la University of Illinois para obtener su diploma de comadrona certificada, lo cual le permite proporcionar atención médica a mujeres en todas las etapas de su vida. Adriana ha trabajado en la comunidad de La Villita durante nueve años.
