Certified Nurse Midwife / Enfermera Obstetra Certificada
A Wisconsin native, Susan Slattery finished her nurse practitioner and midwifery degrees at the University of Wisconsin in Madison and Marquette University in Milwaukee. She is board certified by the American College of Nurse-Midwives and the National Certification Corporation for the Obstetric, Gynecologic and Neonatal Nursing Specialties. Specializing in women’s health, she is also a member of the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses. “My philosophy of care is to treat all patients as if they were my own loved one, and that we must show kindness and respect to everyone,” she says. Susan speaks English and medical Spanish. In her spare time, she enjoys tennis, church activities and skiing, and is a member of the National Ski Patrol. She is married with four grown daughters; her oldest daughter was a medalist in rowing in the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia.
