Dr. Thomas received her medical degree and completed her residency at Southern Illinois University. Currently the medical director of ACCESS Family Health Society, she worked with Sinai Medical Group before joining ACCESS. Dr. Thomas firmly believes in providing quality care to everyone regardless of his or her ability to pay. “The best part of being a physician is the personal aspect—getting to know the patient through continuity of care, knowing the patients’ faces and names, and being able to treat them throughout their life from cradle to the grave,” she says. In her free time, Dr. Thomas loves exercising and keeping fit through aerobics, weight lifting, bowling, and especially golfing.
La Dra. Thomas recibió su diploma médico y completó su residencia en la Southern Illinois University. Actualmente es la Directora Médico de ACCESS Family Health Society. Ella trabajó con el Sinai Medical Group antes de incorporarse a ACCESS. La Dra. Thomas cree firmemente que todo el mundo debe recibir tratamiento médico de calidad, tenga o no tenga recursos económicos para ello. “Lo mejor de ser médico radica en el aspecto personal, conociendo al paciente por su cara y nombre y tener la oportunidad de tratarle desde su nacimiento hasta el fin de sus días”. En sus ratos de ocio ella disfruta haciendo gimnasia, levantando pesas, haciendo aeróbicos, jugando a los bolos y muy especialmente jugando al golf.
